Personal Injury cases are the result of somone else's carelessness or negligence.  Negligence is the failure to use reasonable care.  Negligence is a type of tort or civil wrong.  In law, the failure to do something that a reasonable person of ordinary prudence would do in a certain situation or the failure to do something.
